I’m a web developer with a background in Information Systems and IT. I build websites and practical digital tools for businesses.
Where I’m coming from
My background is in Information Systems and IT — the area where people, processes and software meet. It taught me to start with how a business actually works before deciding what a website or system should do.
That’s still how I approach every project: understand the problem first, then build the simplest thing that solves it well.
Why I build for the web
Web development is where I get to turn that thinking into something people use every day. A guest checking prices on their phone, a buyer comparing vehicles before visiting a showroom, a customer asking for a printing quote — small moments, but they matter to the business behind them.
I focus on practical problems for real businesses: making information easy to find, making it easy to get in touch, and giving owners tools to keep things up to date themselves.
Security as a way of working
I have a strong interest in cybersecurity, and it shapes how I build. In practice, that means handling data carefully, giving people only the access they need, keeping admin areas behind proper sign-in, validating what users submit and keeping software up to date.
It’s an approach to development, not a separate service — I don’t offer penetration testing or security audits.
What I care about
Clean interfaces
Clear layouts, readable text and nothing on the page that doesn’t need to be there.
Straightforward experiences
If visitors have to think about how to use a site, it can usually be simpler.
Practical solutions
Tools that fit how a business already works, rather than features for their own sake.
Careful implementation
Sensible defaults, careful handling of data and access, and code that can be maintained.
